Exodus tells the story of how God set the people of Israel free form oppression in Egypt, made a covenant with them at Mt Sinai, and led them through the wilderness on their way to the promised land. These events, which were of fundamental significance for the Old Testament people of God, point forward to the new exodus and new covenant brought about by God through Christ.
This commentary, uses language that is simple and clear, avoiding technical terms. It gives an explanation of the text that is sound and reliable, easy to understand without being superficial.
