Daily Prayer and Devotional Resource
Bread for the Day"was created in cooperation with the ELC in America. It follows the daily lectionary developed by the Consultation on Common Texts. The Devotional Alpha's are so called because they stimulate devotional thoughts from the daily Bible Reading and have been carefully crafted by Australian worship author David Schubert.
Includes, daily scripture (NRSV) with full text, a prayer for each day, an alpha devotional thought for reflection for each day, brief forms for Morning and Evening Prayer, monthly pages for prayer lists or journalling, notes on festivals and commemorations for the Church year.
