Steen Olsen once again provides the reader with a wealth of missional insights and thought-provoking gems. Bring Jesus. takes the readers on a journey that is both simple and profound. Steen simply invites us to bring Jesus as we do life, and profoundly guides us to invest in authentic relationships, knowing that we are merely the support act for the director of mission, the Holy Spirit.
Dr Tania Nelson, Executive OfficerLocal Mission, Lutheran Church of Australia and New Zealand

Looking to have a tool for changing a congregational culture from maintenance to mission in a contemporary setting? Or, something that quickly introduces basic missional perspectives in a winsome and, at times, impish way in a bite size form? Or, joins together practices of doing what it calls for doing rather than just talking about them? Look no further than this book. Engaging, clear, succinct, and easily used conversation starters from a missional perspective: Bring Jesus.
Rev Dr Patrick R. Keifert, Professor of Systematic Theology (emeritus) Luther Seminary, Saint Paul, Minnesota USA, Director of Research and Consulting at the Center for Church Innovation of the Graduate Theological Union, San Francisco, CA.

This is a fabulous resource. The historic Reformed churches need a lot of help to change towards the future without being harangued or punished. This book does it. Sixty articles/short chapters are arranged in themed sections, so you can go straight to that section. I can see church leadership teams and individuals using this book to great benefit. That is, if they want to be found in the purposes of God, not in the grip of tradition. It holds the best of blogswarm, focused, friendly stories, insights from a width and depth of experience and occasionally deep challenges. Steen has added to each section a range of questions related to the chapter and a section of scripture to dwell in. Small groups and teams could use it as a study before each meeting, to focus and reflect and think themselves forwards. I can see an individual church leader focusing on one chapter a week and thereby making a pilgrimage year, dwelling in the passage suggested for the whole week, working to answer the set questions each day. It would be a momentous year as the learning accumulated. I congratulate Steen Olsen in the gentleness of big issues and I congratulate any of you who enter this journey with him.
Rev Dr Ian Robinson, honorary research missiologist, United Theological College, Sydney, Australia.
